Eligibility Criteria for the Azerbaijan Government Scholarship 2024-25:
- Citizens of Azerbaijan are Not Eligible.
- For Undergraduate and General Medicine programs, the age should not be more than 35 years.
- For the Graduate and Medical Residency program, the age should not be more than 40 years.
- For PhD, age should not be more than 45 years
Required Documents:
- Completed nomination form
- Diplomas and transcripts from previous education (minimum GPA of 70 required)
- Medical certificate, including HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B/C tests
- Copy of a valid passport
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume
- Language proficiency:
- English: Undergraduate – IELTS 5 (TOEFL 40), Postgraduate – IELTS 5.5 (TOEFL 50)
- Russian or Turkish proficiency (if applicable)
- Motivation letter
- Documentation of local and international awards.

How to Apply Azerbaijan Government Scholarship?
Applicants can not directly apply for the Scholarship. All applicants must wait for the call for applications announced by their respective entities/government authorities (Ministries,
Embassies, etc.).
The applicant must apply and submit documents to the respective authorities. The respective authorities will select applicants and will nominate the students.
After the nominations, they will proceed to the second stage of the application process and apply through the Study in Azerbaijan Centralized Admission Service (SIACAS) website (portal.edu.az)
