IOM Stands for the International Organization for Migration. It was founded in 1951 and is part of the United Nations. The IOM is the leading international body that deals with migration issues. Applications are open for the IOM Diversity and Inclusion Internship Program. Each year IOM welcomes hundreds of interns to work in IOM offices worldwide. Eligibility Criteria for the IOM Internship
At the time of application, applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in the final year of an undergraduate degree program.
- Be enrolled in a graduate degree program.
- Graduated students can also apply for the IOM Internship if they have graduated within one year.
- Be sponsored by the governmental/non-governmental institution and/or academic institution.

Age Criteria for IOM Internship
All interns must be between 19 and 36 years of age (average age is 26).
Duration of the Internship
It lasts from two to six months. Preference is for interns who can commit to at least six months), with a maximum duration of nine months.
Support for Interns
The IOM Diversity Internship Program will cover Airfare Tickets, an allowance for Food and Housing, and Visa costs is also covered by the IOM.
