Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the University of Glasgow Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have International or EU (non-UK) fee status.
- Hold an offer of a place for an undergraduate program in 2024 at the University of Glasgow.
- Demonstrate excellent academic achievement before starting their undergraduate program.
Students who have achieved the following A Level/IB grades (or their local equivalent) are guaranteed a scholarship offer:
- A Level: AAA*
- IB: 40 points with 776 at a Higher Level
For students who have not yet achieved the required grades, the scholarship offer is guaranteed if they are predicted or achieve the following grades (or their local equivalent):
- A Level: AAA
- IB: 36 points with 666 at a Higher Level
It’s important to note that for students who receive an offer based on predicted grades, the scholarship may be withdrawn if their final exam results do not meet the grades outlined above.

Benefits
The scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee discount of £7,000 per year of study and is subject to satisfactory progress for consecutive years of study.
HOW TO APPLY
Applicants holding offers will be automatically assessed for the scholarship based on academic merit.
Applicants who are being considered for the scholarship will be notified within two weeks of receiving an offer of admission.
